Kate Eisen


Kate emerged from a background in advertising and marketing. In 1990, in Boston, Kate ran a downtown theatre, working simultaneously as stage manager, director, head of development, and programmer of live music and theatre performances. Kate later took her programming experience to a repertory cinema in Brookline, Massachusetts. In 1995, she moved to Manhattan, where she


produced music concerts at several of the city's premier performance spaces, including Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Symphony Space, and Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. While in New York, Kate managed the tours of several European theatre companies. In 1997, Kate produced SheDonism, a critically acclaimed visual and theatre arts event at the Metronome in Manhattan. Kate has been instrumental in engineering a New York development-sponsorship nexus for new musical artists, and she has been central in facilitating major tours and concert appearances in the United States and Europe.In 2000, Kate returned to Toronto where she joined Fusion Artists, Inc. as a voice agent. The same year, she opened In Abstracto, a Queen Street West atelier specializing in mid-twentieth century modern furniture, industrial design and art.

In 2003, Kate joined Busterhouse Productions as Director of Production.

In 2004, Kate opened The Rep, a boutique agency representing Toronto's hottest actors and comedians.
